بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
The Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months (97:3)

As-Salaamu Alaykum Dear Brothers and Sisters,

May all your deeds and supplication during this holy month be accepted by The Almighty Allah (swt).

Please join our special in-person Laytat-al-Qadr programs on April 30th, May 2nd and May 4th. The event will take place in the parking lot of Al-Nabi (s) Masjed located at 1505 W Garvey Ave N, West Covina, CA 91790, following physical distancing guidelines.

REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY – LIMITED CAPACITY

The special Laylat-al-Qadr program will consist of the following:

10:00-10:15 PM Qur’an Recitation
10:15-10:45 PM Speech by H.I. Ahmad Modarres
10:45-11:15 PM Qur’an Ceremony
11:15-11-30 PM Azadari/Latmiyya
11:30-11:45 PM Break
11:45-01:00 AM Dua Jawshan al-Kabeer
01:00 AM Adjourn

Gates will open at 9:30 PM and will close at 10:15 PM. Please note that you will need to park in the designated parking lot near the masjid. The parking address is 1415 W Garvey Ave N, West Covina, CA 91790. Please see the map below for more details.

Please arrive early to allow time for parking and walking to the masjid. We will also stream the event live from our YouTube channels. The door of the masjid will be closed and there will not be an area for performing salaat; please pray before coming to the masjid. Please also make sure to wear warm clothing since it may be cold outside. Drinks and snacks will be served during the program. Suhur will be provided in to-go boxes.

Please don't reserve all three nights if you are uncertain about your attendance, as you will be taking somebody else's spot. Thank you for your cooperation.

Grand Rules and Statement of Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Related to Coronavirus/COVID-19

To comply with safe social distancing and public health guidelines, the following rules will be enforced:

  • Event will be held outside following social distancing guidelines, wear masks and warm clothes.
  • Please pray at home, there won't be an area for prayers during the event.
  • Gates will open at 9:30 pm and will close at 10:15 pm. Please plan to arrive on time.
  • Suhur will be provided in to-go boxes to all attendees. You won’t be allowed to distribute any food or beverages to other attendees.
  • Guests with health issues such as diabetes, cancer, open wound, or other illness should NOT attend.
  • Please refrain from attending if there is any reason you can not comply with stated element above (e.g. difficulty breathing while wearing a face mask).

COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By attending this program, you agree to abide by the above-mentioned rules and the procedures established by the public health officials to protect attendees and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you and/or your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the event. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation for you and your family, and you waive any liability against the organizers and any other parties involved in the program.
